To the people who have been stopping by this blog and saying "what the hell?" I do apologize. I haven't posting anything in forever. I have some tracks that were just mailed to me that I'm going to put up on the site soon along with a Summer 2009 mix. Also I'm going to playing under a new name , more to come.............

DJ Lay-Z Summer 08 Mix

Recorded a nice summer mix tonight with some of the dj's I've really been into in the past and present. Started off as a mainly funky/disco/jackin house mix and then had to get into some under 120 bpm shit starting with some Vampire Weekend. Having a real problem trying to do a specific genre mix. This is all done live with no editing. Canada's Mass Repeat has a big track on here Going Steady and DJ Sneaks Did it at the Disco never gets old for me.

Love Hertz - Label presents brand new Haterboy Stuff! Besides his club-oriented Electro House project with his partner Van Hagen, Love Hertz' very own Haterboy keeps pace with his genre- breaking, 80s-influenced solo project. This time he reworked The Cure's 80's classic 'Lullaby' into a funk-driven Electro track with his signature vocal sound on top. This one is a real groove monster! An official Haterboy solo release on the Love Hertz label is planned for later this year. Haterboy & Van Hagen's debut will be released on Beatport on May 26th.

One of Vancouvers finest dj teams is travelling around Ontario with their 4 turntable orchestra. I've posted there mixes on the blog before and these guys don't let down. Its going down @ Revival on Sat May.17(Long weekend) and it looks like Make it Funky is also making it reasonable with $12 advance tickets.
